Laboratories THEA respects the personal data of users of the Site, in accordance with all the applicable laws (notably the European Regulation (EU) 2016/679 dated 27 April 2016 relating to the protection of natural persons in respect of the processing of data of personal nature and the free circulation of these data, as well as any applicable law).

Laboratories THEA has put this procedure to protect personal data in place in order to inform you of its practices concerning how personal data that you may provide when visiting the site is collected, used or disclosed. Please ensure that you have read this personal data protection policy in its entirety before using or providing information on the site. By accessing the site, you acknowledge that you understand and accept the terms and conditions of this privacy protection policy.

          1. Navigation data

The site keeps track of your user data such as the source address from which the request for page consultation comes from (i.e. your IP address, your domain name), the date and time of your internet site reference page consultation request (if there is one), and other settings (e.g. search criteria) contained in your URL (Uniform Resource Locator). We use this data to better understand the use of the site in general and to determine what parts of the site have user preference (e.g.: on the basis of the number of visits for these pages). This information is entered into an archive folder and is used by Laboratories THEA in its statistical reports.

          2. Participants to the TROPHY contest data collected at the time of   registration

Participants personal information are collected and processed electronically by Laboratoires Théa, as controller, for the purposes and within the context of the organization and management of the TROPHY contest, and in particular for :

- Participants’ registration to the contest;

-  Verification of the Participants’ identity, postal address, and telephone number or to otherwise verify the Participants’ eligibility to participate in the contest;

- Publication of international and national winners identity and cases;

- Where applicable, declaration of the financial participation covered by Laboratoires Théa to the medical council where the Participant is registered or to the competent authority and, where applicable, public disclosure.

This processing is based on your registration and participation to the contest in accordance with the general terms and conditions of the TROPHY rules and also on the compliance with a legal obligation to which Laboratoires Théa, as controller, is subject (declaration and disclosure).

The provision of your personal data is neither a statutory nor a contractual obligation; however, failure to provide all or part of the personal data may prevent Laboratoires Théa to proceed with your registration to the contest.

The recipients of the data collected are Laboratoires Théa authorized personnel, as well as any authorised subcontractors to whom it may have recourse for the organisation of the contest. Your personal data will remains anonymous to the jury(ies) and to the public until the end of the contest. Only national and international winners personal data will be publicly disclosed at the end of the contest, and notably on the TROPHY website (name, first name, photography, position, qualifications, case).

Participants data will be kept for the duration of the contest. Winners data will be kept as long as their cases are disclosed on the Trophy website.

>> USE AND DISCLOSURE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

When you provide personal information such as your name, address, email address, telephone number and other personal data, you agree that we may contact you to reply to your request and, later if necessary, that we provide services or information that we believe may be of interest to you ("assigned purpose"). However, you can waive this service at any time. Any personal information you have provided will be used in the purpose assigned by Laboratories THEA.

>> SECURITY AND QUALITY OF INFORMATION

Precautions are taken to protect your personal data submitted on this internet site and used in accordance with this privacy protection policy. In addition to protection of a technical nature, we use also physical controls and procedures for the protection of personal data. However, we cannot ensure complete security in a scenario where third parties attempt to circumvent our security measures or intercept transmissions over the internet.

We may be required to disclose information about you to the authorities responsible for the application of the law, the courts, or regulatory authorities. Thea will co-operate and respond to such requests in accordance with the law, and shall adopt appropriate measures to ensure that the applicant understands the sensitive nature of any data it may receive. By these presents, we expressly reserve our right to co-operate with the authorities responsible for ensuring the application of the law.

a)       right to access: you can receive information about data processing and a copy of the processed data;

b)       right to rectification: you may request rectification of inaccurate data or completion of incomplete data;

c)       right to erasure: you may request the erasure of personal data and, in case the personal data have been made public, informing other controllers about the request of erasure;

d)       right to restriction of processing: you may request restriction of data processing;

e)       right to data portability: you may request to receive your personal data in a structured format, commonly used and machine-readable format and request the transfer such data to another controller;

f)        right to object: you may object to data processing in order to stop it;

g)       right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority if you consider data processing to be an infringement of the GDPR.
